Recently I was commissioned to design and create this beautiful quilt.  The quilt was made for a graduating senior as a gift from her parents.  Of course mom was spearheading the project.  The shirts were her soccer shirts that her mom had saved over the years and each shirt had one of her soccer team pictures in the middle that was printing on fabric and appliqued to the shirt.  The quilt turned out to be almost a queen size quilt and we put minky on the back for hours of warm cozy snuggling.

Hello My name is Rachel Lamm and  I am the owner of The Cackling Hens.

  I am in the process of creating some fun and eggciting new quilting patterns.  I also own a long arm and am taking new business.  With Quilting being such a passion of mine I am always longing to be in my quilting room.  But of course with a family and work there is never enough sewing time.  Watch out for my new patterns and to all you passionate quilters,
